Maine Consumer
Credit Code and Funded Settlement Act - 3 Hours
This
course covers the general provisions and scope of the Maine Consumer
Credit Code, consumer credit transactions secured by first-lien mortgages,
truth-in-lending, and the Funded Settlement Act. An exam is administered
at the end of each class, which must be passed before certification
is given.

Responsibility and Best Lending Practices - 1 Hour
This
class, which is offered immediatly after the Maine Consumer Credit
Code and Funded Settlement Act, covers the importance of being an
ethical mortgage broker or lender, ethical standards, and the consequences
of being an unethical mortgage broker or lender. An exam is administered
at the end of each class, which must be passed before certification
of attendance is given.
