CHARLES "Kim" COIT, ESQ,
has 29 years experience in
real estate at Mark Stimson Associates, RE/MAX By the Bay and
RE/MAX Riverside. He was President of the Maine Association of
REALTORS in 1998. He is the author of Introduction to a Successful
Career in Maine Real Estate, Introduction to Maine Real Estate
Law, Case Studies for The Associate Broker Course and Running
a Successful Real Estate Agency in Maine.
LINDA
DITOMASO is a broker
with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Saco and has
been a licensee for over 22 years. She was the 2006 President
of the York County Council of the Maine Association of REALTORS.
LES
FOSSEL is owner of Restoration Resources, Maine's
largest historic restoration contracting company. The
2001 and 2008 Maine Preservation Award winner, Les lectures
extensively on older housing. He is a newly-elected State Representative.
LINDA
GRIFFIN is a broker specializing in antique homes
at Pleasant River Properties in Windham, Maine. She
is a member of Greater Portland Landmarks.
GORDON
HOLMES is President of Direct Real Estate in
Portland. He has been involved in real estate for over 29
years and has taught several pre-licensing and continuing
education courses.
MICHELLE
MARKHAM is
a residential/commercial appraiser with Maineland Consultants
in Portland. She has an MBA from Boston University.
DAVID
SAWYER is
the assessor for the Town of Windham and has been an assessor
and appraiser since 1983. He is a Certified General Appraiser
and a Certified Maine Assessor and has been nationally approved
by the Appraisal Foundation to teach USPAP. He has taught several
courses for the State of Maine Department of Revenue and for
the International Association of Assessing Officers.
JOHN
SCHWARTZ
is an Associate Appraiser and Environmental Assessment Consultant
with Maineland Consultants in Portland. He has worked
in appraisal since 1973 and has extensive experience in teaching
pre-licensing and continuing education courses.
PETER
TAGGART,
owner/president of Taggart Construction in Freeport, Maine, started
his company in 1994 "to develop, practice and promote
sustainable methods of building design and construction." Pursuing
this goal, Taggart Construction built the first EnergyStar
home
in Maine, the first LEED Certified home in the USA and a
second LEED home in 2007 that achieved Gold Certification.
After serving on the board of numerous non-profit organizations
dedicated to sustainability, Peter is the current Chair of
the Maine Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
